Second Monday of Advent
Say Have you ever been in a fight with a friend, a sibling or even your parents? Maybe they said something that hurt your feelings. Maybe you did something you should not have done.
Ask Tell us about your fight. How did it feel? What were your worries?
Read Romans 8:35-39
Say Yesterday we read that God loves us so much he sent Jesus to save us. There is nothing you can do -- no mistake you can make-- that is so big God will stop loving you. That is what this verse today is telling us.
Light the two purple candles.
Say God is good. And his love is forever. Nothing can separate you from the love of God.
Ask How long will God love you? How long is forever? How does it feel that God will love you forever?
Pray God, we give thanks because you are good. Thank you for loving us. Amen.
